Many people are having different types of doubts regarding documents to bring for IBPS PO January 2013 Common Interview. Especially, you people are asking about Character Certificate and Caste Certificates. I will explain about each and every thing in this post.
First you have to read the instruction given in your IBPS PO 2012 – 2013 Common Interview Call Letter. I just answered to the doubts of candidates.
1. Print out online application submitted to IBPS for CWE PO 2012. If you don’t have the online application of IBPS PO 2012, you can download it from Below link.
Click Here to Take Print out of your IBPS PO 2012 Online Application form.
You have to enter you Registration No., DOB and Password to download it. If you have lost your password, Click the Forgot Password link on that page, then you will get mail from IBPS. Sometimes it will take up to one hr to get mail. If you cant get mail even after 1 or 2 hrs, then Comment with your Reg number or Roll No or Full Name. I will give link to download it.
2. Proof of Date of Birth. You can submit your SSC/SSLC/X std. Certificate with DOB or you can submit Birth Certificate.
Some people are asking that DOB in online application is different from SSC certificate but it is same in Birth certificate. In that case, you can submit your Birth Certificate as your DOB proof.
3. Marks sheet for all Semesters/years, Consolidated Marks Sheet, Provisional/ Final Degree Certificate regarding graduation.
4. SC/ST/OBC candidates have to submit Caste Certificates.
OBC certificate should not be more than one year old as on date of application. It is not necessary to get Caste certificate in the form provided by IBPS. It is OK if you already have one. Those forms provided for those candidates who don’t have the caste certificate. Read the instructions in Call Letter for more details.

5. Persons with disability Category: Medical Certificate in the revised format issued by the Authorized Certifying Authority. PWD candidates should also bring the bio data for of Scribe if you have availed the services of scribe.

6. In case of candidates already/ previously employed:
You have to bring word experience certificate if you are previously employed. If you are presently working whether it is a Private of Govt job, you must bring NOC for interview.
7. Print out of Interview Call Letter
8. Photo Identity Proof
9. Original Character Certificate from two respectable persons not related to you.
Everyone asking about this. So, i am providing the format of Character Certificate below.

Edit it in Word by removing dashes and fill it with your details to look decent.
You can get this from any Gazetted Employee like School Head Masters. Seal and Signature of the person issuing character certificate is must. Without Seal, they wont accept it. Also you can get it from any govt employee who have seal along with signature. Seal is important for them.
10. If you have mentioned any course in support of computer knowledge, you have to bring that too for interview.

i have mentioned 1 year experience in ibps application and don’t have relieving letter .
is it possible if i dont mention experience at the time of interview and if they asked me then why u had mentioned experience in application the what should i have to tell them.

Sir, I have alloted UCO Bank through IBPS PO-II which has notification in march2012.
My OBC Certificate (Non Creamy) was issued in July2012. But Banks r demanding that on which basis u have applied the exam as OBC (Non Creamy)..it means they r demanding a proof that u was still belong to OBC Non Cream Category at that time(between April2011-March2012).. But this was my first Caste certificate..
Is any solution ..that they can satisfy… they tell us that go n get stamp and signature of that autority .. But the Autority told that there is no provision like this ie Back Date issue.. Sir Please make some way to Overcome this ..either they wll keep my job in Abeyance.. Plss Sir..

It is only said consolidated mark list and original certificate in the call letter. The other mark sheets, i dont have all of them. Or i have to get from the university the duplicate ones. u need to get fresh one. u should have prepared it earlier. but try to get it by giving some money or something else. if u cant get fresh one, write a undertaking to submit afterwards. they will allow u for interview. be cool

sir, if a candidate has just passed the graduation and has not good marks, will this affect the allotment after interview process got over, as many banks have their own criteria for recruitment process like grad. with 55-60%?

no objection certificate for currently working candidates from their employer. usually they ask for NOC at the time of interview. but they didnt mention anything this time in call letter.

I will suggest u 2 send a formal e-mail 2 ur HR dept. They will surely reply back 2 ur mail whatever answer they hav. print that email with details. Showed it to the document verifier at the intrvw. Also not forget 2 write ur work ex…like “I hav been working here 4 2 yrs and apperaing intervw, need noc” in ur mail. I think it will work both way…showing “workex”…n “not getting noc”… thanks…

i gave my interview of ibps PO-2 on 19th dec.I did nt have xerox copy of 10+2 passing certificate,but had original one.at the time of verification,they told me to get it photostat from their office after interview…i was 1st one for interview, so they told me to xerox it after interview..but they mentioned it in the form that 10+2 passing is nt submitted..after interview,i gave them xerox copy but they did not cut those lines…passing certificate not submitted. i told them to do so but they ignored.i am in worry now..does they reject me ?

Xerox copies attested by ur MBA college principal and also ask them to provide custodian certificate(most of the colleges providing this). i cant give 100% guaranty for ur interview. This is the only option left for u.

As mentioned in the call letter that OBC certificate should not be more than 1 year old as on the date of application. We applied in April last year(2011), so it means it should not be more than 1 year old as on April 2011. Please correct me if I am wrong.

i dont have a professional computer course certificate but i had studied computer as a subject during my MBA & My semester mark sheets do have mention of it. & also i m working in corporate sector for past 3 years & have quite enough knowledge of practical application of computers. Do I need to produce any other computer certificate?

I am working as an Executive-Business Development & Purchase in a company for last 2 years & prior to that I was working with Kotak Mahindra bank as a management trainee. Total 3 years experience i have. & I know MBA is not a computer course but I have studied computer as a subject in 2 semesters of MBA. & My MBA marksheets do have a mention of the same so I was asking about that do i separately need a computer certificate?

@SAUMYA don worry if u have studied computer as a subject in your school level or degree…no need of certificate..they want to know whether you know to operate computer..though u r from corporate sector no need of that..when u did ur schooling if u have any DCA certificate or any kindly have it

In photo identity proof, right now my name is with in-law surname but my certificates carries with my maternal surname. Do it throws me in any problem.
Should i submit same photos which i submitted during my registration for online application. Right now i dont have them.

You can get character certificates from any where u like. They wont check ur address or anything like that. Just carry them with sign and seal. Thats all. with regard to photos, u can take any photo which has ur face. no need to match ur dress, background in photo.,etc..Ok..All The Best!

Regarding the Character Certificate i plan to do it with a 1)Manager of State Bank of India who has said that he will issue a seal and his signature.2) can i do the other from a principle of a private school (its an ICSE english medium school),if he agrees to give his signature with seal)?????

you are eligible for interview. After completion of interview, ur final score will be calculated by combining CWE TWS and Interview score. Then all banks release notifications and declare the eligibility criteria. Then u are allowed to give order preference for which u r eligible with ur % in graduation. Almost 8 to 10 banks have dont ask for % of marks. You are eligible for those banks only.

Its written on the call letter that OBC candidates who belong to minority community shud submit necessary certificates for their claim. When I have applied for this IBPS PO,I was having the OBC certificate. But,i came to know that OBC certificate should not be more than 1 year old after seeing the Call letter. The certificate which I was having is of 2010. And on top of that,now we won’t be coming under OBC bracket as we are not in Creamy Layer(Father’s Annual Income increased). So,how can i proceed..? Please suggest me on this….. Awaiting your revert..

if u have completed ur graduation in computers background, then u dont need any certificate. but if you have completed ur graduation other than computers, u need computer knowledge certificate even though u didnt mentioned in online application

consolidated marks memo is enough.. they always mention the semester wise marks sheets but they dont ask for it interview. I dont think u will have any problem. If you have chance, take semester wise marks list too, otherwise go with consolidated marks memo.
